Go to menu Main => Generate Financial Year
See current period and next period. Next period should be 1-4-2017 to 31-3-2018.
If it is not so then
Click on “Close on date” and enter date as 31-3-2018.
Then click on button “Generate”. Then close this window.
Select company and login to 1-4-2017 to 31-3-2018.
Goto Utilities => Data Manage => Update database => Update Database structure.
Goto Utilities => Settings => Entry form setting
Then click on “Sales Return” and in entry screen select “Sales Return”. Then save
Then click on “Delivery Challan” and in entry screen select “Delivery Challan”. Then save
Then click on “Sales Invoice” and in entry screen select “Sales Invoice Standard with settings”.
In "Entry columns options" select "Remarks" if you are using remarks column in product, other wise select "Standard".
In "Discount Options" following options are available.
1. Discount on Amount. Select this option when you need discount on Amount.
2. Discount on Liters. Select this option if you are using system of discount on liters.
3. Discount on Quantity. Select this options is you want to calculate discount on quantity.
4. No discount on Products. Select this option if you do not want discount.
In "Tax Position" select Tax in products.
Free quantity column required. If you want free quantity then click on this.
MRP column required. If you want MRP column then click on this.
Second discount required. If you want second discount column then click on this.
Packing column required. If you want "Pack" column then click on this, and in text box type as "Pack".
Quantity break up required. This column is used to enter quantity break up like in cloth business meters and bundles etc. If you require this column then click on this.
Then save.
Then click on “Purchase Voucher” and in entry screen select “Purchase Bill with Settings”. Then save.
In "Entry columns options" select "Without shortage of Qty"
In "Discount Options" following options are available.
1. Discount on Amount. Select this option when you need discount on Amount.
2. Discount on Quantity. Select this options is you want to calculate discount on quantity.
3. No discount on Products. Select this option if you do not want discount.
In "Tax Position" select Tax in products.
Free quantity column required. If you want free quantity then click on this.
Quantity break up required. This column is used to enter quantity break up like in cloth business meters and bundles etc. If you require this column then click on this.
Then click on “Purchase Return” and in entry screen select “Purchase Return”. Then save.
Then click on “Proforma Invoice” and in entry screen select “Proforma Invoice”. Then save.
Then click on “Sales Invoice Excise Manufacturing” and in entry screen select “Sales Invoice Excise Manufacturing”. Then save.
Then click on “Purchase Excise Manufacturing” and in entry screen select “Purchase Excise Manufacturing”. Then save.
Then click on “Sales Invoice Labour Charges” and in entry screen select “Sales Invoice Labour Charges”. Then save.
Then click on “Purchase Labour Charges” and in entry screen select “Purchase Labour Charges”. Then save.
Then click on “Lorry Receipt” and in entry screen select “Lorry Receipt”. Then save.
If you do not want to carry product closing stock and account closing balances to next year then your work is completed, and now you can start wokring. Please note that the opening balances in new year can be either carried from last year OR you can also enter manually in new year.
Login to financial year 1-4-2016 to 31-3-2017
Go to menu “Main=>Update Next Balances"
1. If Account balance is to be carried to next year then click on check box(tick mark) “Update Account balances”
2. If Product stock is to be carried to next year then click on check box(tick mark) “Update product stock”
3. If Penind links are to be carried to next year then click on check box(tick mark) "Update link"
3. Then click on button “Update”
